Galleries First (Flounge) LHR: Dining menu and food options

This thread gives the current catering options for the Galleries First Lounge (Flounge) in LHR Terminals 3 and 5. This lounge is open to BAEC Gold and oneworld Emerald card holders. Passengers flying BA on a First ticket can also use the Concorde Room. The catering supplier was changed on 2 May 2013 to BaxterStorey. Click here to see the former thread, which covered that turbulent period.

The T3 lounge is identical to T5 in terms of food and drink options. However there is no Concorde Room in T3 so from 18:30 hrs there is a pre-flight dining option for First travellers, see here for more details.

The current catering options in the First lounge can be found in the first post in the thread, or you can click here. Currently lounge menus are not always on display in the lounge, but this link may be your best bet to see the options.

Is it true the Lanson rosé has gone from GF?

What were the champagne choices? Just the Palmer?

Plus the English sparkling?

Hi anyone got the link or photos of the menu currently, visiting tomorrow and wondering if we should feed the kids up beforehand? Last time the options were limited if nothing at all

When I was in last week I asked why there was none on the self service bars, and could only be ordered. I noticed it had been like that for a few weeks before, apparently it’s supply issues.

In just now and half lunch, half breakfast food out. Same upstairs in GC.
Pretty much the same food:

Fishcakes
Rogan Josh
Rice
Pork and apple pies
+ salad stuff etc.

QR code menu wise, there's nothing really:

hm. the difference between GF and GC disappearing. Same food and same booze (+
some bubbles, but they already removed Landon).

In T3 there is CX First and QF lounges so you have those options, but if you are flying from T5 and cannot use CR…

Some of the bits on the CCR aren't any different either

Seems to be a mixture of garden peas and peppers in GC, with maple glazed carrots in GF.

Can’t understand why this message hasn’t got through to Gatwick. We are both lounges seem to be offering far superior food and drink over what’s available at the airline’s hub.

The online options in G. F. Down at Gatwick, were numerous last week, including a vegan burger as an alternative to the signature burger, also a pasta option, a curry, a cheese plate, some fish dish and also something chicken-based as I remember, although I had sampled all three champagne options before I looked at the food, so my memory is a little blurry!

Budget? Perhaps LHR has to stretch their budget a little more than LGW.

I've still no idea why the coffee area near the middle toilets is still manned, yet the main area is free for all. It's not as the machines are different and produce baristta drinks.

This is some of the food from Galleries North (pea and mint soup, whereas tomato in the CCR and GF)

The drink fridges are still broken (it's been more than a year), but they bothered fixing the broken light bulbs in the dining area! Also scones have disappeared again (or maybe 5pm was too late) First wing security took 20 minutes..

Does anyone have any recent experiences at breakfast? Recent flights have been from Manchester & t3 so I haven’t been in the t5 lounge at breakfast since the summer, when from memory, it was still mainly online ordering

I was in GF for breakfast 2 weeks ago. There's the usual hot buffet spread of sausage, bacon, beans and (not great) scrambled egg. Sadly the mushrooms seem to have gone completely. Didn't try the a la carte options.
They also seem to have done away with the bottles of still/sparkling water. Probably been this way for a while but was the first time I'd noticed it. The days of fresh orange juice are far in the distant past.
