Galleries First (Flounge) LHR: Dining menu and food options

This thread gives the current catering options for the Galleries First Lounge (Flounge) in LHR Terminals 3 and 5. This lounge is open to BAEC Gold and oneworld Emerald card holders. Passengers flying BA on a First ticket can also use the Concorde Room. The catering supplier was changed on 2 May 2013 to BaxterStorey. Click here to see the former thread, which covered that turbulent period.

The T3 lounge is identical to T5 in terms of food and drink options. However there is no Concorde Room in T3 so from 18:30 hrs there is a pre-flight dining option for First travellers, see here for more details.

The current catering options in the First lounge can be found in the first post in the thread, or you can click here. Currently lounge menus are not always on display in the lounge, but this link may be your best bet to see the options.

They did so in the past - it was practically the only time that I permitted my husband to eat junk food and superfluously calorific food. Still they were better than those unspeakable fit- for-a pub pies

I agree wholeheartedly. However how many times have you or others written to say how poor it is? I'm afraid that I have as nothing will change unless people kick off about it rather than complaining about it here

Code is currently Chilly, unfortunately I was there for breakfast so can't say what the offerings are but you should be able to figure it out via the webpage.

Do we know why BA changed to using a password that is only available in the lounge, and seems to change quite frequently? Were there phantom orders being made? I tried to get the menu using the code that worked on Wednesday (I think it was "jolly" but I may have just forgotten) but is no longer working...

Havent been in this thread for a while, but I just thought Id note that food options were much improved in GF LHR today compared to the last time I spent time thereprobably September or October last year.

There wasnt much of interest on the app menu but the selection at the buffet was pretty good. I had vegetable curry and later some sandwiches.

This may be anecdotal but I felt the whole lounge was quieter and had been smartened up a bit.

My son and I will be making our first ever visit in a couple of weeks....I have been following this thread so aren't expecting too much....but my son does want to know if the burger is available at the moment. Up thread, there are some comments suggesting that it isn't.

It's available in the Gatwick F lounge, but not at Heathrow sadly.

Thanks for that as I feared...looks like a detour to Giraffe might be needed beforehand!😂

Fair enough. That said, at this point, I'm not sure I've made as many posts about it as the "Usual Suspects" who are losing their minds, literally by the hour, in the JFK Chelsea thread. The same ones who continually tell us that everything in LHR GF is just fine...

As a frequent commenter about the poor state of the GF lounge over the past few months I've been twice so far in 2023 and it's remarkably improved. A week ago (albeit early in the morning) I saw managers going round checking things; they had staff assigned to clearing up specific areas; and it generally just seemed cleaner and more organised. There were people continually cleaning the lavatories - though they still need done up. Just the menu that needs putting back to normal - and can we get the toast on order back please in the mornings!

Much improved...

What happens when you ask someone for it? Have you ever been refused?

I didn't think to ask for it - I assume they don't do "off menu" items! They don't have any normal bread available in the morning now - just "English muffins" and some awful hard rolls.

Any recent updates food-wise? As I shall be visiting in a week, as a newly minted Gold. Thanks!

Dont knock the muffins

The provision of muffins in GC is a huge improvement on what we had before.
