Galleries First (Flounge) LHR: Dining menu and food options

Last edit by: KARFA
This thread gives the current catering options for the Galleries First Lounge (Flounge) in LHR Terminals 3 and 5. This lounge is open to BAEC Gold and oneworld Emerald card holders. Passengers flying BA on a First ticket can also use the Concorde Room. The catering supplier was changed on 2 May 2013 to BaxterStorey. Click here to see the former thread, which covered that turbulent period.

The T3 lounge is identical to T5 in terms of food and drink options. However there is no Concorde Room in T3 so from 18:30 hrs there is a pre-flight dining option for First travellers, see here for more details.

The current catering options in the First lounge can be found in the first post in the thread, or you can click here. Currently lounge menus are not always on display in the lounge, but this link may be your best bet to see the options.

Problem of room temperature beer is a long standing issue.

Hi all,

I guess I must have missed the post on it, but looks like BA eliminated now the table service in the GF lounge. Today I checked out the QR code and I noticed that no food orders are possible anymore - a few weeks ago, it was still possible with very limited options - and today, it was only drinks, showers, and other non-food related items.
Such a pity as I did find it quite useful.

Cheers!

I was in there this afternoon and a lot of the fayre is starting to resemble the sort of products that have been lying about for hours that used to be found in Motorway Service Outlets.

They had a small selection (i.e. 3) yesterday (Friday) - but nothing special, so did the buffet (I think their best was the Tikka Masala which came with all the bits!)

So for breakfast, would this be scrambled eggs, kippers or American pancakes?

Is there nothing else other than the buffet?
No poached eggs anywhere

Is it the same at LGW?
I came through there 10 days ago and there was a full selection of breakfast "specials" to order via QR code, probably around 10 items.

If the QR menu has gone, then this would mean options are worse than pre-covid when we had physical menus and ordered at the table via the lounge staff

The buffet is also a lot worse than it used to be. Well done on a double enhancement. Ive not seen Galleries Club in years, but the difference must now be relatively marginal?

Out of curiosity, did the chocolate muffins get "enhanced" away?

The last few times I've been in the QR menu only had 1 or 2 food options, but they were substantially better than what was on offer at the buffet (which is almost identical to the buffet upstairs in the Club lounge).

As long as they've kept the blueberry ones!

Are burgers back in the F Lounge? I am there now and saw a member of BA staff carrying a burger (to a passenger I assume!). I could not see an option for the burger on the online menu and none being served? Are there “unofficial” options you can request and if so what is available (are the Eggs Benedict back?)?

Good Q. Last Friday I saw a waiter wandering around with a burger and a tray of Tikka Masala - both not on the online menu.
