Nothing as such, but before the OP removed his/her post, there were more than enough personal details shared for an unceremonious demotion from the heights of Silver to the depths of Bronze

I saw the post before it was removed. You expect someone in BA to start playing Nancy Drew over a missed flight reported on a forum somewhere?

That would be a tremendous waste of resources.

It's not that uncommon, it's due to IT limitations at certain airports. It's a bit of nuisance since of course one needs to ring BA and have the TPs and Avios removed.

[One regular person here did ring BAEC to find out whether they had really given her the TPs/Avios, and was a bit disappointed that BA duly removed them. They tend to be OK with letting you keep over egged Avios though.]

A friend of mine works for the Dutch police department. They apprehend burglars because they actually post pictures on Facebook/Instagram/Elsewhere with the stuff they just stole.... Maybe BA is considering this grand theft too.
