You can book them separately, you'll have to pay the Avios for each flight however. Or you can book them at the same time, in which case LHR-SYD gets loaded at 00:00 or so 355 days before departure, at the same time as LHR-SIN. It's treated as one flight.

I've just had total brain fade during a call to BA - I was delighted to see availability open up on a LHR-JFK flight for my wife in First (I had already upgraded) - there was only one seat available on the return, which I intended to use for me (as a GCH I really wanted to use the Concorde Lounge), but instead upgraded my wife (she is silver). I know that this is probably unanswerable question, but is there likely to be additional availability open up on this route (JFK-LHR), and so is it worth continuing to check?

So you've upgraded your wife from CW to F on JFK-LHR, while you still have only a CW ticket? Many would say that this wasn't brain fade but the correct thing to do.
In any event, if she is flying in F, then surely you'll both be able to access the CCR at JFK anyway?

Thanks for the response - I understand they're two separate flights, and I'd have to book them two days apart. I did not know if the second leg of BA 15 SIN-SYD releases two single seats which can be added to the 241, or if only LHR-SYD can be booked in which case I'd be out of luck

Which means you'd need to book all the way on the original booking, even if you did that with a view to changing the date of the second leg later. I suspect you are highly unlikely to manage this as the second leg would inevitably be dated a day or more after the first one. For example, at this minute you can book LHR - SYD on 5 Jan. The SIN - SYD leg of that flight would leave on 6 Jan though - and you won't be able to book this independently of the LHR - SIN leg until midnight, by which time there is every likelihood someone will have nabbed the LHR - SYD flights.
You are far more likely to manage this on the return journey as you could, for example, book BA16 SYD - SIN on 5 Jan connecting to BA12 SIN - LHR also on 5 Jan, then change the latter leg once that became available a couple of days later (incurring a change fee though).

That said nothing has been confirmed regarding further integration of EI - so nothing on them joining oneworld or being available on ba.com for redemptions. It may happen later this year but may be next year.

I know that an online agent issued ticket has to be issued in the same country as residence of the BAEC member to be eligible for upgrade using Avios, but is it the same for a British Airways issued ticket? Would a BA ticket issued from Italy (sold by BA sales) still allow me to UuA?

combine 2 one way
Hi
Booked two one way flights using Avios but flying on CX
Am I able to request both flights to be connected into the same PNR? It is because the first flight arrives 2hrs 10mins before the second flight and I want to see if I can have my bags tagged at point of departure to my second one way flight's destination, without having to clear customs at HKG, retrieve baggage, then recheck in and go through security again.

Would QF F LHR-SYD be 200k one way?
The BA site does not seem to like giving the cost of avios and charges for any long haul QF reward flight.

Cheers, is it normal for all the QF long haul award seats to bring up errors when you select them? Are they only available to book via phone or just error seats?
