Wow, that's an unusual sighting here. Since BA doesn't have any operations here, I assume that AA is in charge of arrangements, even though MSP is a small station for AA. I suspect that those passengers will be looking at long lines for rebooking/meal vouchers/hotel assignments if it comes to that.
The other bad news is that there's no oneworld lounge, although their is a new pay Aspire lounge that BA could comp for FC passengers and high tier elites if they want to do so. [IIRC a normal entry is $50. It just opened last month and it's not (yet) in PP.]
OTOH MSP immigration and customs is usually good, although there might be some passengers who are not entitled to enter the USA. [For them the airport has lots of cots, blankets, and pillows that are provided to folks stranded in blizzards.]
ADDED: At least one local TV news program is reporting that the problem was smoke in the cabin. That aircraft sure looks pretty parked at the international gates in Terminal 1, surrounded by a bunch of big DL birds. The distinctive BA tail looks beautiful on TV.

Hey chaps. Was on this flight travelling in F. Power went off about 6 hours into flight and nothing worked, seats, AVOD, blinds, anything. Then an announcement that senior cabin crew to flight deck immediately.
Turned out to be an unusual burning smell coming from multiple parts of the aircraft (but no smoke anywhere). Couldn't smell anything in F but when we walked through to exit the plane there was a strong burning smell.
Apparently they decided to divert to MSP because it was going to be the last major airport on our route (this was from cabin crew). Flight landed fine and was met by emergency services who boarded the plane. We disembarked and waited in gate area for 90min+ before being informed that flight would be grounded overnight due to crew timeout and engineers not being able to locate problem immediately.
Park Plaza hotel was offered by BA staff who dealt with the whole issue very well - the plane was lightly loaded so it wasn't as bad as it could have been.
No information yet on when the flight might take off again - staying in the JW Marriott at the Mall of America - off out to make the most of BA's food/drink budget (only joking!)

Yeah, I would hope that FC passengers would be given something better than the Park Plaza, perhaps the Radisson Blu at MOA if BA wants to use Carlson family hotels.
JW at MOA is brand new and just opened within the last few weeks. It would not be my first choice for F&B.

I was in J on this flight. The issue was in the toilet in club world lower deck. I saw the fire people come in and look at it. Didn't seem obvious what was causing it. But the smell was quite a strong electrical burning smell.
Feel sorry for the crew. They looked knackered.
Booked a room at the Ivy tower in downtown. Great hotel and got upgraded.
Anyone know what BA will do. Are faults like this usually fixee?
