When did ExpertFlyer start offering BA Reward availability again?

Just checked now and it's all there

This seems to be a new ExpertFlyer feature, whereas before it was perhaps mistakenly being released in the same data as standard fare bucket availability. Now BA is separately listed in the Award search displaying Yes/No award availability, but the PUZX buckets do not show in the standard EF availability search.

Thanks Deckard, just checked and working fine, well spotted

I expect those of us with EF accounts will be inundated with award requests, I expect a new thread to start before the end if the week. :)

Indeed well spotted - thanks for the good news!

Doing someone an occasional favour is all well and good, but I think anyone wanting the info regularly should just pay up. EF is not expensive for the value received for any non-trivial user.

Agreed!

Or just use BA.com award search which is free. The 'availability request' thread started up (or became a lot more active) when the free options for finding availability dried up.

Totally agree... even just the occasional flight alert (for those hard to find I-class or other category seats) pays for itself as soon as one of them means you've gotten a seat that you'd have not found otherwise. All the other functionality makes it, as far as I'm concerned, an essential tool for the savvy traveller.

I bought EF last week to watch for first class awards in upcoming flights. Alert at 6am this morning and booked at 7:30. Already paid for itself.

Could someone explain the difference between the Basic and Premium subscriptions in practical terms?

The differences are shown quite clearly on the signup page, with examples of each feature: http://www.expertflyer.com/frequent-flyer-programs

Premium Service subscribers have access to all services. Basic Service subscribers have access to all services
except Fare Information, Saved Queries, Flight Alerts, Aircraft Equipment Alerts the Mobile Edition and the variable
date and multiple Class code features within Flight Availability

Thanks for that; I looked at it beforehand of course but wanted to hear from users how much difference does it make in everyday usage. I realise that this also differs depending on each user's habits and needs.

Flight Alerts, Mobile Edition and +/- 3 day search are well worth the extra for me. The Basic version costs $60/year whereas the Premium costs $99/year if you pay upfront, so only $40 more.
