Last minute flight changes
My wife and I are flying LAX -LHR-TXL on CW next week. We have seats on the late plane. We would like to fly on the early flight 4 hours earlier. The BA rep said it would cost $11,000 to change. We have relatively cheap, non refundable fares. Our original return ( 7 am flight from TXL - LHR cancelled) was cancelled and we had to extend our trip by a day. They said changes would be free. They would not do the free part if we extended.
Is it feasible to call with 24 hours and ask? I can always ask, but is there a chance? It is the Christmas holiday push.

Can always ask but chances are slim. If the late flight looks overbooked you can always arrive early and ask to be put on the earlier flight but that's about it.
