Qatar Award Availability
I have found available flights online from JFK to DPS in business class flying QR. However, it gives me an error when I try to book. I called and they were not able to find availability. I'm new with Avios, does that happen often? Is there a way around it?

It has been happening for months.
Ring BA and they can book it (unless it is showing fake availability in error). In general I would call again and ask another agent to look who may be better trained.
I got a DOH-CDG booked on the phone a couple of months ago after the same ba.com error.

The agent said they are updating their system and it will be ready in 24-48hrs. Not sure if they are just having a problem now or if it is a bigger update.
