Thank you. To compete with Norwegian allegedly. Looks like someone else beat me to it!

I don't get this one. It's not a beach fleet or holiday destination?

Seems odd, do people really choose Norwegian because they operate out of LGW. If it's cost driven, doesn't it just cannibalise LHR demand. Suppose they know better than me!

Does anyone know where the slots at JFK are coming from?

Very useful for those of us who have to travel through LGW anyway to get to LHR.

I see the other thread on this mentions that Vegas has been dropped (presumably from LGW). Is that confirmed?

Yes, Vegas will be dropped from LGW. Antigua will reduce to 6 per week (from 7), Orlando from 14 to 13 per week. Kingston is changing days to M,T &T. Tobago changing from M to Tu.

Do that many people actually favour LGW over LHR for US direction travel?

I can see it would be handy for catching the Brighton train for your flight, but with one a day (that will be problematic should something go wrong), a possibly less modern aircraft, no such lounge access etc., I would personally favour LHR with multiple choices and more fallback.

On a three-class triple, I think I'll give that a miss. Even thought LGW is marginally better for me to get to than LHR. Having said that, I don't mind the flight times so much.

Lots of people prefer LGW to LHR. I suspect the JFK from LGW will be aimed at leisure travellers more than business travellers. Ticket prices might even be cheaper, but what do I know?

It'll be interesting to see the pricing.
I booked a trip recently to Vegas and it was half the price flying from LGW as opposed to LHR. No brainer really.
