When are LH bulk row / exit row free for Silvers ?

I am sure this information is around, but could not find it.

For Silver (and below) members, long-haul exit and bulk head rows in coach are available for purchase from 14 to 4 days before the flight. Then whatever is left can be grabbed by anyone for free when OLCI opens, 24 hours before departure.

However, I kind of vaguely remember an unpublished benefit for Silvers who can get an exit row seat assignment for free as soon as the flight goes "live" into the system (3 days before the flight). Is that right ?

Not in my experience, no.

(It does apply to short hauls where the exit row may be in front of the CE curtain, but is usually behind it when they configure the actual flight three days before).

I think bulkhead and emergency exits might be different here?
