Yes. Wait for a sale either ex Dublin or ex Norway. If one doesn't come in time or you don't want to wait, you can always use the advance purchase fare that KARFA mentions in the TP run thread.

Current advanced purchase fare

Usually exEU sale to US cover the summer period of July & August and sometimes a week or so in late June.

If you don't mind an extra trip to some Caribbean island you should go for this one http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/premi...-new-post.html with a long stopover in NYC (which is usually more easy to get after visiting the Caribbean than before, probably because of HIP check).

Just booked this. Managed to get around £900 pp in October half term! Any UL regulars have any tips/advice?

No advice, but great find. ^

Wondered how you got that price and found that if you book directly on the UL website, it sells as low as €1045 (or £815). Always nice to see people are actually booking!

SIN/BKK are €1325 (also lower than google/f)

This is exactly what I'm after, but for March/April 2017. Got to keep an eye on these deals when they pop up!

If there is reward availability, yes.

For those not wanting to spend much time in the Maldives, the UL fare has no minimum stay. So if you really want, it also works with a back to back at MLE and a long stopover in CMB. Around €1150 / £896 or maybe even a bit less.

First search the flights on Google that give you a price between €1490 and €1590 and then use these exact flights on the UL website.

Help please! I'm trying to get this for October but can't seem to be able to get the long stop over in CMB (I can get it for £860 but without the stopover).

Try 15th to MLE, 17th back to CMB, 23rd to CDG. Or 1, 2, 7. or 8, 9 21, etc. It is really easy to find to be honest.

Great advice on booking direct with UL. I managed to get HKG in Aug for just over £1k and I could have booked it for under £900 but that was with a leg on a A321 rather than the new business class on the A330.

When I looked at similar dates MLE was as low as £750!

This will be my first time on Sri Lankan, so really looking forward to it.

Is this right? I don't have personal experience, but I read multiple times in this forum that to UuA you need to be on 125 stock and flying BA metal. I always assumed that BA codeshare operated by AA is not good enough.

Thanks for the link henky.

Wondered if I should bite the bullet or wait a little longer? Saw CDG-SIN for c.£1,100 in July on Sri Lankan I would prefer BA/CX/Finnair and I'd probably pay a couple of hundred more for that for extra Avios/TP/better cabin.

I think UL has the better product here.

Try Vienna for Singapore. Was €1497 a few days ago. Look on BA.com, Austria site. Not sure if it is still there.
