The facility to choose your main course meal before you fly (when travelling First, Club World and World Traveller Plus) is available on the following routes on flights departing from London:

London Heathrow to Accra, Amman, Atlanta, Austin, Bahrain, Baltimore, Bangalore, Bangkok, Beijing, Beirut, Boston, Buenos Aires, Cairo, Calgary, Cape Town, Chengdu, Chicago, Dallas, Delhi, Denver, Doha, Dubai, Durban, Hong Kong, Houston, Hyderabad, Jeddah, Johannesburg, Kuala Lumpur, Kuwait, Lagos, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Madras, Mexico, Miami, Montreal, Mumbai, Muscat, Nairobi, Narita, Nassau, New York (JFK and Newark), Philadelphia, Phoenix, Rio De Janeiro, Riyadh, San Diego, San Francisco, San Jose (California), Sao Paulo, Seattle, Seoul, Shanghai, Singapore, Tehran, Tel Aviv, Tokyo (Haneda and Narita), Toronto, Vancouver, and Washington DC.

London Gatwick to Antigua, Barbados, Bermuda, Cancun, Cape Town, Costa Rica, New York (JFK), Kingston, Lima, Male, Mauritius, Orlando, Punta Cana, Saint Lucia, San Jose (Costa Rica), Tampa, and Trinidad and Tobago


Meal selection will be from the on-board menu; pre-selection is available between 30 days and 24 hours before your flight

Meal selection is only for the main course of the main meal. However, you can click on the menu link to see the full main meal menu.

Starters and desserts cannot be pre-ordered. Items from the second meals cannot be viewed or pre-ordered.

Starters

  • Mezze plate featuring Hummus,Lamb Kibbeh with pistachio nuts, Harissa labneh stuffed red pepper with spinach bil zeit and pomegranate seeds
  • Kidderton Ash goat's cheese with Spring vegetables and pea puree
  • Pea and mint soup with coriander crème fraiche
  • Cobb salad served with your choice of Honey Mustard Dressing or Creamy tarragon dressing

Main

  • Pan fried cod Sayadieh, pumpkin chickpea Salouna, Sayadieh rice with pine nuts and musharmel dressing
  • Thai red curry with cornfed chicken and jasmine rice
  • Burrata and spinach tortelloni with tomato ragout, roasted salsify and grilled artichokes

Dessert

  • Baked chocolate tart
  • Lemon & lime slice
  • Warm mixed nuts & dulce de leche flan with vanilla crème anglaise
  • Blueberries and raspberries
  • Butlers Secret Cheddar, Cenarth Brie, Stilton cheeses served with Apricots, biscuit and Sweet Apple Croxtron Chutney

  • Loch Fyne Kinglas salmon, granny Smith apple, fennel mayonnaise
  • Smoked ham hock terrine, piccalilli, capers, quail egg
  • British asparagus, poached Burford brown egg and truffle hollandaise
  • Pea and mint soup, broad bean and parsley croquette
  • Seasonal Salad served with your choice of Honey and Mustard dressing

Main

  • Seared fillet of aged Herefordshire beef, smoked bone marrow butter, Bolney Lychgate jus, wild mushroom duxelle
  • Pan fried halibut, cauliflower Veloute, salsa Verde
  • Roasted cornfed chicken breast, peppercorn sauce, roast garlic and watercress

  • Laverstoke Park buffalo mozzarella, basil marinated heirloom tomatoes, gazpacho

  • Fresh Seasonal salad with cucumber, carrot and pumpkin seeds served with your choice of Damson Dressing or Creamy Ranch Dressing

Anyone have any recommendations?

Does the asparagus come with a proper runny poached egg?
Are either the beef or halibut stand-out dishes?

Question 2 Desserts ?

I have a flight from LHR to Seoul in Club world coming up and I just wanted to ask if anyone knows if it's possible to have 2 desserts instead of a starter on Club world ? Has anyone had any experience doing this ?

Hi lolipop123 and welcome to FT,

I had experiences where I had 2 starters ( a soup + a starter dish ) and two desserts. Just ask for another dessert when you have finished your first one. The crew would probably be happy to serve you even if you have taken a starter option.

Also here is my menu for flight BA17 to Seoul:

Starters

  • Beef Carpaccio Cipriani with rocket
  • Smoked aubergine and chickpeas with yoghurt, hummus and tahini
  • Parsnip Soup

Salad

  • Roast sweet potato salad, coriander and chili pesto served with Sherry vinegar olive oil and Lime yoghurt

Main

  • Braised Scottish Prime beef cheeks with horseradish dumplings and potato mousseline
  • Baked marinated cod, chili sauce, steamed rice, spinach with sesame
  • Ricotta panzerotti with tomato concasse, grilled black olives and fresh rosemary

Dessert

  • Flamed meringue, raspberry panna cotta
  • Chocolate custard tart, crème fraiche
  • Traditional Spotted Dick
  • Fresh berries
  • Vintage West Country cheddar, Double Gloucester, Shepherd's Purse Yorkshire blue cheese served with Apple pear chutney and walnuts

Any recommendations on what to go for ?

p.s this is my first club world experience haha

Yes, I've had that dish previously (not from the current menu so it may differ) but I thoroughly enjoyed the dish.
