600 TP, Still Bronze, Lounge?

I took a flight on Monday to put me at 600 TPs, which were shown in my account this morning (Wednesday). The BA site and app still have me as bronze and I have a flight in a few hours time. From what I've read it can take a few days after the TPs cross the threshold for the BA site and app to update.

What is the likelihood the checkin staff will let me into the lounge if I show them that I have 600 TPs in the BA app?

try signing out

Try signing out of the app and then logging back in and perhaps you'll find you are Silver. Not saying it will work but its worth a try if you have the 600TPs. Often times things can change on the BA app just by singing out and logging back in.

Hi Ho Silver Lining, I would have thought.

If you show your App screen to the lounge agents and ask nicely then you may be able to enjoy the lounge. Welcome to Silver Matd !

Likely at a BA lounge, unlikely at an outstation.

I had this some years ago, and they sent me a fax. maybe in that time they have entered the 20th century and can email something

No luck! I'll try it again in a bit as that has helped me before in the past.

This is at Glasgow so hopefully you're right. I'll give it a go in an hour and a half. :)

No ones asked so I will. Do you have 4 eligible sectors under your belt?

Yes there are. Bronze requires 2 eligible flights, and Silver 4.

Sometimes you need to actually close the app (double tap home button and then swipe the app up), re-open the app, sign out, sign in, and then it will update.

Although TPs credit in 1-2 working days usually, status can take 3-4 working days after that to update.

Walked in and said I just turned silver but the app hasn't updated. The guardian of the lounge didn't seem fussed and just asked for my boarding card. "We'll call you when your flight is ready. Enjoy".

:)

There is a reason I very quickly deleted my post - just not quickly enough :)
