I agree, maybe I am missing something, but why on earth would someone want to pay £70 up for them and pretend to be a Prem?

A quick look on the PIL will reveal the truth to the Crew

I kind of get why people put their current tags on bags but it makes me smile when people hang on to the expired ones and display them prominently, however I have a soft spot for the retro ones from a long time ago and even more though when the Customer still holds that status.

I use mine to help me identify my luggage. I have a combination of various gold, silver and bronze tags from different periods on various different bags that I take with me on planes.
Couldn't care less what other people think. Someone gave me a luggage tag with my name on it. Might as well use it. I wouldn't pay for any luggage tag.

Exactly what I was thinking, why pay for it?

I keep my bag labels too and have them on my holiday case/bag but that's about it.

Well at the moment no one it seems. As to why someone would, it is obvious; there are too many people in this world who are unaware of the importance of the typical buyer of these things.

Of couse some of us are above caring if people are unaware of our importance.

I don't want to get anyone all riled up, so I won't mention the folks who sell their F pajamas on ebay.

Reckon the Prem tags are stolen. Terrible English in the ad and he's coincidentally also selling:

- Goyard travel bag, used (£800)
- Hermes gift, unused, probably from duty free (£400)

Likely all three items were 'acquired' as a package!

With the Smythson branding on them as well they look more gaudy than a Gold tag-but not quite as embarrassing as Bronze . Plus how can you woo a LADY with one's titles if the name isn't printed?

But they are useless... No lounge access, no extra baggage allowance... What folks think? They will show the baggage tag and will get CRR access or what?
