1200 TPs is correct if you are sat in first on the transcon.
40+140+210+210+210+210+140+40=1200 TPs
Are you saying it now shows as 1060 TPs?

If BA are to go down this route with only BA codeshares being honoured, contrary to the information which has been available on their website and to what has been confirmed to a number of customers, are the only flights affected by altered tier points non-BA codeshares of BA1-4?

Sorry by the way, I'm not convinced that this issue is actually relevant to the April 28th stuff other than perhaps it prompted MMB to refresh the tier point calculation or something.

Yes that's what I'm saying, it's presumably because MMB is counting that Z class flight which isn't really a Z class flight as 0 instead of 140, since it actually should be I class. Should I be worried that it won't credit correctly?

The credit will be given based on the information that the operating airline passes to BAEC after the sector is flown.
I would not worry about it too much, it is easier to fix afterwards than before.

Well I can also confirm that BA were telling customers that ALL partner flights, regardless of their booking codes, were to earn Avios and Tier Points at the old rate if booked before the deadline. I made a point of phoning the Silver line and tweeting BA to be sure that was indeed the case. Thus I was given that information 2 times via 2 employees on the same day (April 4th to be precise). If they are now saying that is not the case then I will be fighting for all the points that I was told I will get.
Let's be honest about this...they were telling fibs, and the information given influenced a lot of bookings.

I continue to find the positive spin on these changes - which is manifested in the OP's statement very disheartening. I don't mind the changes - its a business - I understand - but treat us as grown ups and call a spade a spade.

Hello,
Please find some answers below to your questions.
The reward flight calculator will default to flights departing on the day the search is made. Today is an off-peak day so the calculator will show an off-peak rate today. This will be updated in the future to include both peak and off-peak pricing. We are looking to change the wording on the banner to make this clearer.
In answer to your questions around Air Partners, as long as the flight has a BA flight number, you will earn the Avios rate that applied at the time of booking.
Kind Regards
Louise from the proposition team

As others have reported the LCY-JFK flights appear to have gone down to 140 when booked as the AA codeshare.

The credit will not be awarded based on what MMB or the BA PNR says now, that is a prediction rather than a determination.
The credit will be given based on the information that the operating airline passes to BAEC after the sector is flown.

I have figured out that I can now get more Tier Points on some of the cheaper flights by booking them as a non BA flight.
If you play around with Qantas or Royal Jordanian, for example, you will see what I mean.
Is there anywhere where we can see which flights give differing amounts of Tier points depending on what flight number you use to buy them?
