So this is where the money is meant to come from for the enhanced CW meals!
Or is the plan to make WT meals even worse to encourage people to pay for this.
My only experience of this was on Thomson and they were completely inedible

Interesting development. I flew BA WT for the first time in over 8 years in February. After a few CW meals on TATL flights I had very low expectations of WT meals so I just ate in the lounge beforehand as a precaution - it seems I made the right move doing that. For the £15-18 premium, I'd rather just eat in the lounge. If I didn't have lounge access, I'd probably just spend that amount on food in whatever terminal I may be in and then just maximise sleep onboard.

I did my first LH in WT about a month ago and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the WT meal ex YYC. Other than being in a plastic tray, the main wasn't much different than a CW main.

Is the "Great British Breakfast" a lunch/dinner offering? Or do some of those flights leave early enough for it to be a replacement breakfast?
I'm not against the idea in principle - it'll be interesting to see how it pans out. Will there be a choice of starter and/or dessert or is it just one option per menu?
Mind you - £15 can buy quite a lot of food if you prefer to pick at existing meals and also self-cater some goodies.
