Avios Availability for Finnair (AY) Airbus A350 testing/training flights, inc HEL-LHR
A350 flights now on sale – see the schedule

During October 2015, we will also test the new aircraft on flights within Finland and Europe.

Fares aren't too bad if you book with AY, although mile-per-mile LHR-HEL is always pretty cheap.

The schedule includes Malaga, Malaga - Helsinki in J is 140 TPs each way.

No business seats on the LHR-HEL flights on avios it seems (grrr)

And don't fancy spending Ł450 to get the AY996 via finnair.com

One remaining biz seat on the 995 HEL-LHR, 15th October. (I nabbed the other)

Fab use of 15,000 Avios. Cancellable too in the event of aircraft change.

Some dates available in Nov as well for the evening rotation to LHR, if you look around. ^

(Not published in the article though, but still showed A350 as operating aircraft.)

There were - a friend and I have two in J class LHR-HEL on the 16th, but there were none in Y, even on HEL-AGP that I could find.

Remember with similar trailing flights in the past, equipment changes have often scuppered the best laid plans, so as msm2000uk and paul4040 allude, it's best to keep an open mind and two open eyes and be ready to ditch or switch plans in case the A320 goes back on for these flights.
