Looks like she's having a few issues at the moment. Circling to the west of Blackpool (burning fuel?) after having declared an emergency.

Will land in 4 min. Appears to have been a cabin oxygen issue. It is RAES - didn't she have a problem in NYC recently?

I have been screwed over by this, but at least I had an email when I woke up telling me my flight was late rather than the poor souls (pax and crew) at LHR who have been stuck.

Lucky the Six Nations are having the weekend off, else I would be really hacked off missing games on Saturday afternoon. At least the replacement IIS is finally on it's way to SEA.

Like you say. At least they were able to swap to an alternate aircraft and send it on its way again.
That must give BA good marks comparred to cancelling the service at LHR and the return and trying to re-route or re-accommodate people ?

Incorrect Info

BA49's today have been operated by G-VIIS.

Sorry, my mistake. When I originally sent that post, BAsource.com reported that it was the same aircraft operating the both flights. BAsource.com has since been changed to the correct info.

I never know what site to trust anymore.
