ex-DUB to North America sale Back On

I saw this in the Milage Run forum and had a look myself. I just ran a search on ITA for DUB-LAX and found BA/AA fares in August in for 950. If you want to go via LHR and take the 380 to LAX it will be around 1020. Same trip in F is around 1725

The HNL routes that were being bandied about earlier in the winter also appear to be available.

This has already been discussed quite extensively in the BA Tier Point Runs thread - see post 1111 onwards.

Happy to refer to that thread, but thought it warranted a mention as last time it had its own thread and wiki.

Hardly a month goes by without BA selling CW to North America from somewhere in Europe at a significant discount. Does each one deserve a new thread?

Why not? Are we running short of new threads to use?

Usually that's my line

Still not sure why the ex-DUB stuff needs special treatment, though.

EDIT: If it is going to get special treatment, maybe we/the OP could put the key info at the top?

ex-DUB to North America sale Back On

To be fair, the only reason the last il28sale fare had its own thread was because Prospero was closing the 2014 TP run thread and opening the 2015, so moved out the ongoing exDUB/CPH posts so that could continue unbroken. Usually these exEU sales do not have their own threads.

This current exDUB has been mentioned in the sale thread and TP run thread so I think those who might be interested in it, whether just as a cheap fare or for loads of TPs, will have noticed.

Id be happy to chop/merge/split - whichever takes the chore out of the navigation and makes the important info easier to find.

Community maintained wikiposts have a part to play also.

Yeah, I mentioned it over on the sale thread, MIA and JFK are down around 1600 and LAX is brilliant at 1800. And remember if you buy an A28SALE fare you maintain total flexibility to change or cancel for 300 Euros.

I know lots of people use these fares for TP runs and holidays (we are going ex-DUB for an extra holiday in July) but if you have control over your business travel and need some flexibility then ex-DUB on an A fare is great.

We need a thread announcing an EX-SFO sales Now there would be something post worthy about in it's own topic

Crikey...didn't mean to ruffle so many feathers. I don't necessarily look at the TP thread all the time because it covers routes I'm not always interested in. So just figured I'd make a quick mention.

Indeed.

Ex DUB is particularly juicy because there are such a huge number of flights to DUB from just about everywhere in the UK, loco or legacy.

Tempting!!
