BA Lounge Confusion

Galleries Lounge, Terraces Longe, First Lounge, Business Lounge, The Concorde Room. What's the difference between them all?

Best described in terms of an old sketch.....

First class traveller: "I look down on him, because I'm in the Concorde Room, and he's in Galleries First."

Gold card holder in Y: "I look up to him, because he's in the Concorde room and I'm in Galleries First. I look down on him, because he's in Galleries Pleb"

Club World traveller, no status: "I look up to him, because he's Galleries First. I also look down on him, because I have a bed for the night."

Lounge noob "Oh look, free beer, wine and curry. Boot filling time!"

Of course, you missed the 'I know my place' punchline, but in the context of lounge access, you'd be hard pressed to find anyone that fits into that category!

To give a sensible anwer to the OP's question:

Galleries Club & Terraces - Buisness class lounges, access for business class travellers, BA silver card holders, ane oneworld sapphire

Galleries First - first class lounges, access for first class travellers, BA gold card holders, ane oneworld emeralds

The Concorde Room - first class lounge, access only for first class travellers on BA metal and BA CCR card holders, not a oneworld lounge so no access with a oneworld emerald card

The level of provision in each lounge increases as you go up the scale.
