Got a reasonable deal for 12 nights around Feb half term to UVF (St Lucia), although not much left now judging from EF.

I've just booked BHX-YYC on a VS Codeshare with KLM for Ł1278 18th Dec - 2nd Jan. I'll take that as zero faff involved and I don't have to fly via DFW. Nothing even remotely close to that with BA, not even Ex INV

That’s another of my plans down the tubes, then.

Got (what I consider) to be a very good deal for March next year. Was originally looking at LHR-IAD in F and positioning from DUB but it turned out to add BHD-LHR to the booking only added Ł4. Then added in hotel and got the Ł100 BA hols discount

So;
BHD-LHR J
LHR-IAD F
PHL-ORD J
ORD-LHR
LHR-BHD

4 nights in Washington & 4 in Philadelphia

Ł2075 per person
Could have taken the direct PHL-LHR but I needed the extra 40points to retain Gold

Also just found/booked DUB-LHR-SIN on BA o/b 20-DEC i/b 10-JAN in J for GBP1662. Not the worst price for this routing at this time of year.

Any idea when is the best time/next sale to book London to New York, traveling April 2020?
Travelling in WT/WT+ or CW if a deal.
Will there likely be a sale end of Aug?

BA has a sale in August / September every year for the last 5 years as far as I can remember, perhaps even 10 years back.

Recently BA had some flash sales time and again in between their main sales but tended to be location specific. They get flagged here and some travel blogs when they are on.

Probably but as has been mentioned a few times on this forum, a sale doesn't always mean the best price available. I'd keep a monitor on Google Flights for the dates you want.

End of August/beginning of September is when I've booked our Easter holidays for the past few years, and it's tended to yield the best prices on flights to the Caribbean (either BA or Virgin who tend to lower their prices in line)

I just landed MAN-LHR-BOS-LHR-MAN in J (I fare) for two people, outbound in July, return in September, at 950 quid each. Mistake fare? Doesn't matter, I have ticket numbers!

Must have been an error date. I’ve looked just there and it’s 1700 return per person
