Yep, been monitoring LGW-MCO for next April/May for 2 in CW and has been around 5.2k direct.

Just got same flights for 3.4k for both of us. Added a car so just paid deposit for now.

£105 each to reserve a seat each way - hmmmmm

Not working for SJC- LHR at Xmas - 3 passengers in business class, a shade over 43K, Netjets becomes an option one way at those levels!

If you’re still after Caribbean next spring - Kingston is now £1197

Interestingly, there are also some AA flights to MCO (eg from LHR via CLT / PHL) from about £1414 for March 2019 in J

The BA fares that I've looked at (east and south) seem to be "ticket by 25 September".

Fares definitely loading. Been following St Lucia fares for July 2019. A few days ago they were approx £2250. Just booked for approx £1550 (and will receive 25000 avios). Last year I spent some hours nabbing a 2-4-1 on two Saturday flights (which are obviously popular). Those cost approx £500 cash and (effectively) 75,000 avios pp. Taking an avios at 1p it makes one wonder whether all the effort/hassle in securing those 2-4-1 flights was really worth it - much simpler just to book the flights in a sale!

I suspect the fares being loaded are ex-UK/ex-EU fares... low fares appear to come to the US less frequently (and almost never at the same times as the ex-EU low fares.) I did pick up a good fare ex-BayArea around Xmas, but that was a few months ago - now the $2.5K CW fares start at the end of February.

Welcome to Flyertalk and welcome to the BA forum gazzer666. This is the place to find out how to get Bronze status on the cheap, so hopefully you won't be forking out for seat fees in the future. You can also now pay for seating with Avios, though the implied exchange rate isn't good.

Still no official BA "splash" on this, however overnight the Find Our Cheapest Fare has updated and fares have come down across the board in all cabins, WT, WTP, CW and First. The fares that have come down most are in November, December and January, with some reductions in late October and early February.

I took some screen shots of Find Our Cheapest Fares / Flights last night and then this morning. Here is an example of the CW impact for New Orleans and New York. This was last night:

And now today we see different fares in some months:

So we see for example that the cheapest December trip in CW to New York was £1799, and it's now £1604. I saw Atlanta in WT down from £751 to £548, with seemingly a wider date range than CW.

And there are some really good CE bargains in Selling Class (bucket) I. One of the best I've seen is NCL-LHR-HEL-LHR-NCL, which is £341 return - and dare I point out, 240 TPs - which is enough to earn an entry in the TP Run Thread... Selling period:
PERMITTED 01OCT 18 THROUGH 16DEC 18 OR 13JAN 19 THROUGH
24MAR 19 ON THE FIRST INTERNATIONAL SECTOR.

LHR-HEL is also £238 return (BA operated flights only) - pretty keenly priced.

Long haul deals generally much less impressive.

I’ve been keeping an eye on LAS for next summer and it’s dropped by about €300 ex DUB. Now pricing around €1520 via LGW / LHR and also available on AA

One of the fares I've been monitoring has just plummeted - LHR-SIN in First is now around £2650 for a week in January!
