Just interested in which route is never reduced?

Indeed, I'm personally not aware of any myself, but happy to hear if there are exceptions!

Direct CW to Tokyo from London. 'Never' is a bit strong, but my own watching for 6 months showed that pricing last week was as good as it has been, and the agent's friendly chat said that's pretty much the case.

I'm not sure what it costs at the moment but last year I tracked it down from 3500GBP to about 3000GBP.

Still too high for me though, at that price I'd rather fly ANA.

I saw Tokyo in at 2800 GBP in March 2017 so I booked outward in CW and return in WTP (and was able to UUA into F on the outbound, my first First and so far my only one).

I'd take JAL flights over BA on that route too. Is that the 2am return flight that you're on? I have that one booked next April - squeeze in an extra day in Tokyo.

I've been looking at those flights for the Olympics... and both ANA / JAL worked out as much better options in my opinion.

I need WT+ (to GUF up) to Asia for Easter (the joy to have kids in school). At the moment the lowest I have found is 1200 eur pp.
I am debating with myself if a busy period like Easter in WT+ could be covered (lowered) by a sale or there is no chance and I should book now before the reasonable fare bucket sells out.

Looks like it's going live now - all my tracked prices have dropped significantly.
