Can you improve on Mr Hillier's missives?

While many on this forum appear to feel today's changes are inevitable, there still seems to be a fair degree of annoyance/anger. Was this in part due to a long winded email which got worse the further you read down, searching in vain for the carrot you hoped would be at the bottom of this hail of sticks*

Therefore what low cost enhancements (by which I mean real enhancements, not the BA sort) would you have offered to mollify the aggrieved members?

I will start

"In addition to increased redemptions and decreased Avios, we will be strictly enforcing a policy in all lounges of anyone who places their feet on a lounge sofa will be immediately removed from the lounged and placed with Hillingdon Social Services"

*Please excuse the mixed metaphors.

He could at least sign off with xoxo, or Hugs and Kisses

And he could write to his overseas customers, too. Not a peep from Mr. Hillier today.

(Do you think he is a Mountain? Or just a Mount? )

My almost complete inability to spell is one of the many many things I blame on both my parents and the teaching unions for.

The one I got said this....

Private and confidential not for general release.

''Once again we have fooled our Gold members into thinking their status is even more superior to that of Silver. As per usual this has been accomplished at no extra cost to the company''.

Oh yes, the changes are documented on the website. You don't even have to be logged in to see the notes.

But I think the average BAEC member checks their email more frequently than they check the BAEC website...
