Here is a guide as to the best and worst seats in UK Domestic, Club Europe and Euro Traveller on the Boeing 767-300ER shorthaul aircraft.

Registrations: NWA, NWB, NWX, NWZ, ZHA, ZHB, ZHC.
Aircraft code: 76B.

Please ask your questions here, and hopefully someone will be able to help!

Please note, that due to BA's future introduction of Club on domestic routes, the domestic configuration shown below may no longer be in service when you view this guide.

Configuration

Seating capacity: CY259
Seat types: Rows 1-17 are fitted with convertible seating. Rows 18-40 are fitted with Recaro CL3510 seats.
In-flight entertainment: Overhead screens

A summary of comments made on previous threads:

Please note, seats 1A/B/J/K do not exist.

It has been reported that F-K seats can be quieter, due to naturally lower footfall in the second aisle.

Rows 2, 4, 6, 8 all have excellent window views.

Boarding usually occurs via door 2L- therefore, row 12 is best for a swift exit.

Rows 1-17 have 34 inch pitch.
Rows 18+ have 30 inch pitch.

1 D-F: Recommended, due to the extra legroom.
2 A-B: Recommended, due to the extra legroom.
2 J-K: Recommended, due to the extra legroom.
9 A-K: There is limited recline due to the bulkhead behind the seat. The proximity to the galley and toilets may however be irritating. Well-placed for a quick exit.
12 A-K: Recommended, due to the extra legroom. The proximity to the galley and toilets may however be irritating. Well-placed for a quick exit.
13 A/K: These seats have a misaligned window.
14 A/K: These seats have a misaligned window.
25 A-K: There is limited recline due to the bulkhead behind the seat.
27 A-K: Recommended, due to the extra (unlimited) legroom.
38 J-K: There is limited recline due to the bulkhead behind the seat.
Row 39 onwards: The proximity to the galley and toilets may be irritating.
39 A-B: There is limited recline due to the bulkhead behind the seat.
Row 40: There is limited recline due to the bulkhead behind the seat.

Resurrecting a 10 year old thread rather than starting my own ....

I am booked in CE LCA-LHR on a SH 767 with CE stretching back to row 14.

I am looking for the best pair of seats for 2 pax. I have taken 1D and 1F on the basis that there seems unanimous agreement that the middle block is best. I generally prefer a row 1 bulkhead seat in CE in the narrowbodies, so is row 1 on the 767 going to be broadly the same legroom ?

As stated in 2004, door 2L is used for (dis)embarking on these aircraft, so you want to be at the back of the front CE cabin, or at the front of the next cabin. The middle block is best because the middle seat is kept empty, so stick with D/F.

If CE extends to row 14, and you like a bulkhead, take 12D/F to be among the first off the plane.

This is a 4 hr flight, so how quickly I disembark is far far less relevant than the comfort of the seat ! What I really want to know is whether the bulkhead seat options in the front or second cabin are the best option. After that, leaving aside speed of disembarkation, is there any difference between the bulkhead rows in the 1st and 2nd cabins ?

I believe that 1D/F are identical in terms of comfort to 12D/F on this aircraft. I'm sure someone will correct me if that's wrong.

If getting off quickly isn't a goal, then you might prefer row 1 because the meal service runs from front to back, and options can be limited if you are served last.

On 767s go for the Middle.

Remember more room in the middle for us blokes.

Always keep you lady happy is my motto.

Is there IFE or any onboard power outlets, and if so are the power outlets 110v or Empower ?

IFE is avod. Power is Empower.

Row one feels like it's in the Galley to me. I prefer row 2 or 3

I think I disagree. There is no AVOD on these aircraft, it's CE, not CW. I don't think there is any power either.

You are right to disagree. There is no IFE with the exception of a few screens on bulkheads etc.

Thanks, but I believe that all that info relates to the LH, not SH 767's.

Does that not mean that row 12 would be the best option, when CE extends back that far, as it gives the bulkhead without the galley ? That assumes that they will be the leather CE seats (for what that is worth .. ) ??

Sorry, I for some reason thought I saw CW in your original post. I must have imagined it. My comments were about CW.

I think I understand now, your post was originally to an older thread that mentioned CW (or else I imagined it), iirc, and was moved by a moderator.

I would avoid both bulk heads on the 767. There is enough room 34" pitch in the normal rows. Service doesn't feel club like in rows 12 on. They are convertible back to around row 16. Service starts at the front so to get best choice of food and early drinks, sit up there. It is a smaller cabin and feels much better than the main cabin. Don't forget there is a further galley in front of row 12 and toilets too. I have flown the 767 regularly on the Athens and FRA route - I have broad shoulders and long thighs, still suggest row 2 or 3 if you can.

Quick question: How bad does the exit slide protrude into the legroom of 27A/K? Is it as bad as 26A/K on the 4-class 772? I'll be coming off a long haul flight and will probably need to catch some rest–if possible I'd like to plop my small carry-on in front of me and catch some rest during the flight, which I generally find easier from the window seat, but if the slide protrudes as bad as the 777 then I'll stick with 27B/J. TIA
