Death of BA/Avios???
I searched the first 5 pages of avios thread, didn't find any info. So please don't jump me if it was mentioned on the sixth page!
I don't know what the whole scare is about?!?!
One guy points out that the inevitable devaluation is coming soon, another guy points out on the same story that avail abilities have been slashed and THE WHOLE internet community goes into panic mode???
Relax guys, while Iberia is doing something rather nasty to their points, no changes seem to be coming to ba in the immediate future. Don't go burning your stacks, especially if ur on short hauls with partner airlines. I fly mia often with the fam and booking aa through ba exec is a clear winner.
Buy that leads me to assumptions; Avios is relatively new, would they really want to poke themselves in the eye and change the game altogether this soon? If so, surely something small and not outrageous like some of u might think!
