The new, recognized status will be valid until March 31, 2016. If the status in the existing Frequent Flyer Program expires after March 31, 2016, the equivalent status recognized within the MilleMiglia Program will be valid until March 31, 2017.

I'm waiting for my match to come through too.
That's excellent, thank you.

From several earlier posts, it seems clear that the ba.com "Download your card" is another BA IT chocolate teapot.

Well, golly gosh, what's this in today's post?

A shiny Frecciaalataplus card valid to 03/17.

I guess I'd need to fax AZ to add my e-mail address and use online services.

Sadly not: OK to March 2016 only. I think because my BAEC roll-over month is January.

On my recent FRA-LHR flight, the chap in 1C noticed my GGL and TK gold coloured bag-tags.

He commented we both had the same pairing, so I asked him if he enjoyed travelling TK, or whether he had status-matched.

He responded with the latter.

Im expecting him to now look into the Alitalia status match too, on my suggestion!

Small flying world!

Super. I've just submitted my applications to Alitalia and TK.

Does the TK Elite level = BA Gold? Are the perks effectively the same: lounge access, priority boarding, business check-in etc?

Not too sure. There is also an "Elite Plus" level (which I asked for but didn't get) but a quick read of their page might be more enlightening...

True, but both are *A Gold and I think the Elite Plus is more like GGL with an actual card... Can't be bothered comparing the rather long pages on the benefits.

UncleT, everyone already knows who you are - no need for more shiny tags!

I was told that the tags can be sent out if ordered by phone.
