BA tier points on AA flight to Beijing?

Hello,

I am wondering whether anyone can offer and advice as to whether it is possible to get tier points on a business class flight to Beijing (PEK) from Seattle (SEA) booked with AA but operated by Hainan?

Please ignore. Did some more reading and found that this won't generate any tier points.
