So you should be earning
609*0.25+609 = 761
4422*0.25+4422= 5527
1507*0.25+1507 = 1884

Total: 8172 Avios
Thanks, coming from LAN I am unaccustomed to such bonus generosity

Well that's what I did eventually, above. However like I said, this has literally changed in the table on that link within the last couple of weeks. I had not checked it again until today

Housekeeping update

I've caught up with the changes that trickled in over the past month relating to oneworld partner earnings and eligible fare classes. The guide has now been updated.

In order to keep the guide as concise as possible, I have removed the old earning tables but if you need to refer to these (and old Tier Point earnings) they are still listed in the 2014 thread.

The Avios earning for US suggests the tier bonus only accrues in the F/A/P classes. Is that correct?

Hello. I recently used a GUF2 voucher on a flight to Chicago to upgrade from Club to First. I was pleasantly surprised that I received First Class TPs for both legs. Does anyone know whether the upgrade vouchers always work like this, or whether this was a lucky mistake?

No, it's a mistake. You were only supposed to receive avios and TPs for the underlying CW fare (I asume it was cash CW + GUF2 to F).

Curses! I suspected that might be the case. Yes, I paid cash CW and the GUF2 voucher got me into F.

How can I reverse the transaction and post it to my AA FFP account?

At check-in I asked the staff to remove my BA number and insert AA number instead. He did so and my AA number showed on the boarding pass, however, the flights still posted to my BA account!

Card Expiry Date

I am sure this has been asked before, but I can't find an answer to my exact scenario, so both apologies and thanks in advance.

I'll try make it as clear as possible, but I can't quite understand it myself.

2014:

20th July 2014: Joined Executive Club (0 tier points - Blue)

12th October 2014: DUB-LHR & LHR-LAS [40 & 210 tier points] (250 tier points - Blue)

29th/30th October 2014: SFO-LHR & LHR-DUB [210 & 40 tier points] (500 tier points - Bronze Card Issued)

** At this point my tier points collection year ends 08 November 2015, and my Card expires 21 December 2016. **

2015:

June 2015: A few flights to London got me another 40 tier points. (540 tier points - Bronze)

14th July 2015: DUB-LHR & LHR-LAX [40 & 140 tier points] (720 tier points - Silver Card issued [electronic one so far])

21st/22nd July: LAX-LHR & LHR-DUB [140 & 40 tier points] (900 tier points - Silver)

** At this point my tier points collection year ends 08 November 2015, and my Card expires 31 December 2016. **

Relevant Dates:

I joined the Executive club on 20th July 2014.
I took my first flight on 12th October 2014.
I got enough tier points to go Bronze on 29th October 2014.
I got enough tier points to go Silver on 14th July 2015.
My tier points collection year ends 08 November 2015.

When I got issued my Bronze Card in October 2014, it had a valid until date of 31st December 2016. Which means the card is valid for 26 months.

When I got issued my Silver Card in July 2015, it had a valid until date of 31st December 2016. Which means the card is valid 18 months.

My questions are:

1) Is your tier point collection year not in line with when you joined? Which for me was 20th July 2014.

2) I first added points to account on 12th October 2015, but my collection year ends 8th November 2015, so my collection "year" is actually almost 13 months?

3) Why is one card valid for over 2 years and the other for only a year and half?

I hope my post makes sense, and thank you in advance for any replies.

New cards are valid for the remainder of the current TP-earning year, plus the next TP year, plus the few weeks to the end of the following calendar month. So regardless of when during the year you earn a card, it will have the same end date--which means that its life span will depend on when you earned it.

I've just booked YVR-JFK through PHX on US (business/first), I know PHX-JFK earns 210TP in first but how about YVR-PHX in business? Does it earn 40 or 60 'cause BA's website mistakenly doesn't recognize business on that route.

40 tier points. Only US/AA domestic routes with two cabins would get first tier points if you book in to domestic first.

Quick question, currently my sister is having 870 Tier Points but only one BA Flight so far, therefore still Blue member. She will take soon 4 IB operated flights, will she get after that SILVER skipping Bronze or still only Bronze?

Thanks for the assistance guys

I've been booking the lowest fares for my BHD-LHR flights unaware that for a negligible amount (£30 or so) I could be getting 40 TPs rather than 15 or 20.

Hopefully this lessens the slog back to Silver!

Worse than that, I would have actually had a shot at Gold had I realised sooner - Doh!
