We have created a dedicated thread to accommodate the steady flow of lounge guesting or meet-up requests. However before posting here, do check the excellent BA97 calendar:

If there is nothing shown here then post away – some FTers choose not to show their flights on the calendar. As always, PM the person to confirm, no-one will make guarantees to the accuracy of posts/updates and the invites may have gone to someone else. Times are local, and is when you are in the lounge or ready to be invited.

Usually those offering invites themselves will be happy to be guested into a superior lounge - there is no need to make a combined offer/request (offer GC but want a better lounge).

It'd be great if you could post your lounge guesting/request in the same format as below, to the thread or edit the Wiki. Posts to the thread will get updated to the Wiki by kind volunteers if you are unable to do so yourself.To search this thread for any particular dates you are interested in to see if anyone else is offering or requesting, just use the "Search this Thread" function, and put the date in double quotes, eg "30-OCT-2013"

A reminder - those offering guesting are quite happy to be guested to a superior lounge! There is no need to post a separate request with your offer, this is in the interests of efficiency and housekeeping of the wiki.

Please add your details directly into the wiki if you feel confident/have wiki-posting privileges (must be member for at least 90 days/90 posts). Alternatively, please post as normal and someone will be along to add them into the wiki (it could be within hours, or a week depending how busy we are).

Etiquette guidance: Send a (polite) private message to the poster if you want to be guested in, but do NOT pester (I'm sorry to have to spell it out) - take the first answer, it might be a yes or a no. If you are expecting to be guested into a lounge, please don't expect your "guester" to do all the work such as coming to find you, it is just plain rude. It is only for FTers on here, not your relative, or for your friend. The more posts you have on FlyerTalk, the better your chances, as most people do not want to meet a complete stranger.

Please note that this thread is FOR FTers only and their companions who are travelling with them. Please don't post offers/requests on behalf of a non-FTer while still using your FT handle and you are not even going to be there. If you're not going to be there, don't post! This excludes BA staff who need to remain anonymous, but as a token of appreciation for helping out on FT, they can post on behalf of their trusted ones.


Please only post for oneworld lounges/entry, other lounges, eg, SkyTeam/Star Alliance are not applicable here.

I also have two DUB visits on this trip, one in J on AA from T2, one in Y on BA from T1, both third party lounges. For the AA J flight, lounge database says GCH & SCH get a guest, but guests are not mentioned after OW rules. I think maybe yes on this one, but want to be sure.

For the BA flight, database says 'standard BA rules apply' and I don't have a clue as to whether I'm eligible--coming into DUB on AA J, leaving on BA Y, separate ticket.

So I've just left those out for now.

New to Flyertalk and BA Exec in the last year, working my way up to Bronze/Silver and should make Gold with a TP Run in the spring. I've never been into any lounge (shock!) and as I'm travelling solo for this trip, any guesting into a lounge would be appreciated!

By way of an incentive: there are some regular travellers here who tend to give out invites to those FTers who make contributions to this board, and would possibly reluctant to do so for someone new.
