This thread has been running sometime! I think displaying tags of your “status” is no worse than personalised number plates on cars. Nothing to get excited about. If it makes the bearer feel less inadequate then why not?

Oh yeah of course they serve the same purpose, what i truly meant was i would not want someone thinking i was indirectly showing off the gold tags and then someone seeing on my BP that i was blue/bronze/silver. That may be my own dilemma thou

When I fly Club Europe, it always stretched to row 12 and that is where I sit, so I don't know what you are talking about.

Perhaps there is an opportunity here for FT to sell FT Luggage Tags... if we spot another FTer in the lounge we could say high

(or are there already FT Luggage Tags available?)

HEY! Now we're talking... who would want a Bronze/Silver/Gold BAEC tag when you can have one of these?

Threads like these are the worst, and the reason I stopped posting on FT for so long, people here are beyond opinionated. I wish a few more people on here could be a little more "live and let live" when it comes to their opinions of others travel choices.

As for the tags, now I feel like I want to find my silvers and hang one on my laptop bag and one off a nose ring, just to infuriate people who have a problem with it. (I would have to get nose pierced though)
NoY and Lumpster like this.

I don't see a problem if people want to use their luggage tags, I'm also at that age where I don't give a to$$ what people think of me. :-)
