Arrow Business Class IL28SALE fares: DUB/CPH/BRU to North America

Thank for posting on the sale thread Pet0r.

exDUB IL28SALE

TRAVEL FROM INBOUND TRANSATLANTIC SECTOR MUST COMMENCE NO EARLIER THAN THE FIRST SUN AFTER DEPARTURE OF THE OUTBOUND
TRANSATLANTIC SECTOR.
2 TRANSFERS PERMITTED IN EACH DIRECTION FREE
PERMITTED
23 DEC 14 THROUGH 02 JAN 15 OR
27 MAR 15 THROUGH 12 APR 15 OR
01 JUL 15 THROUGH 31 AUG 15 OR
22 NOV 15 THROUGH 30 NOV 15 OR
ON THE FIRST INTERNATIONAL SECTOR.
TICKETS MUST BE ISSUED ON/AFTER 18 DEC 14 AND ON/BEFORE
27 JAN 15.
VALID FOR TRAVEL COMMENCING ON/AFTER 15 JAN 15 AND ON/
BEFORE 17 JAN 16.
Example prices (based on using BA1-4 and connections in JFK and LAX):

HNL - €1395 (1096)
LAX - €1395 (1096)
SFO - €1395 (1096)
JFK - €1140 (896)

Bear in mind that as there is a new BA DUB-LCY service which started in October 2014 and there is an early morning arrival in to LCY you can do a same day connection from DUB arriving at 0820 and connecting on to BA1 departing at 0945.

There is also a AY DUB-HEL service starting in March 2015 which you may be able to add in, so DUB-HEL-LHR/LCY-JFK- etc. but I haven’t managed to price it up. Based on previous sales it is likely to add around 60-100 to the ticket price and DUB-HEL only gets 40 TPs as shorthaul+ is only exUK.

If you do TATL's as non BA codeshares, and also do not optimise TPs you may be able to get slightly lower prices in case you care more about cost then TPs.

exCPH, BRU, and DUB IL28SALEs added above and to wiki. Checked AMS but that doesn't seem to be included yet? Didn't check any other exEU starting points.

There's probably an obvious answer to this and I'm being particularly dim today but I'm puzzled with the quote that travel much commence on or after 15 January 2015 but it quotes available dates between 23 December & 2 January and then they aren't then available until 23 March? Is it the 'International Sector' that matters?

Yes, I noticed that when I was posting and went back to check, and it is correct. I can't explain it though, obviously someone has perhaps copied and pasted from a previous sale, and for exDUB at least you could travel 23 Dec 2015-2 Jan 2016.

Thanks for that.

Maybe the position will be clarified soon.

Hopefully I can grab one of these fares in the next few days. Eager to do an ex-DUB or ex-HEL run to HNL for the cheapest price / optimum TPs (although happy to fly the A321 in business if need be).
Credit card ready after missing out on the cheap fares a couple of weeks ago.....

Have seen a few for 1065 DUB-LHR-JFK-LAX-HNL etc. about (not BA1-4) although a lot seem to have ORD and DFW connections that I wish to avoid.

The world has gone mad! This is yet another RIDICULOUSLY well priced sale out of DUB!

Ignoring complex routings, some of the highlights include -

MCO - 849
JFK - 857
MIA - 899
HNL - 1,060

I'd rather pay the extra 200 and fly to HNL than JFK

Where are people seeing 1060 DUB-HNL? I'm getting 1355 - which is still a steal!

I was seeing HNL - 1395 for August 2015 and this was via LCY on the babybus, and then AA JFK-LAX-HNL. I think if you don't optimise for TPs you can do it for a bit less.

Wow, awesome.

In November I can get a sale fare outbound on BA1 but no return on CWLCY at all - any idea why? Is it an availability issue?

Seriously considering this.
