All aircraft operating a First cabin will have NF from November 2014 onwards.

When I saw the title of the thread, I thought there was going to be a picture of a tatty looking NF seat!

Switch onto BA55 and you'll enjoy the F experience on an A380

I've done that route a few times in F on the 380. While it may not have the charm of 1A on the 747, it is definitely a much nicer seat with a lot more space and privacy. I'd highly recommend switching if you can.

The are only seven aircaft with OF and this will be down to five by Christmas.
There will be no OF B747s flying come the 2015 winter schedule, well that's the plan.

Unfortunately the A380 was not available for Award for the date I needed.. I'm assuming this NF will be much like the seats on the 777 we took from EWR-LHR.

Newbie to BA and FC.....but I have to say that our experience on BA 184 was light years ahead of our experience on our 777 AA flight in FC. (Not the 77W)....CC, food, attention to service, the seats themselves.

AFAIK the F seat in NF on a 744 is exactly the same seat as the F seat on the A380. What differs is that the space around the seat is much bigger on the A380 so you get more leg room, more side room, bigger storage areas etc which together with the lower noise level on the A380 and better cabin air quality make flying the A380 nicer than the 744 in F at least.
The NF seats on the 777 are sort of in between the two in that you seem to get extra space around your legs but not the extra storage space etc if the A380,
In F my order of preference for flying would be A380,777,744.

OT, but when I checked in at MEX recently I enquired about an upgrade to F, The lady said that it would be £700, which was more than the POUG of £525 when I checked in earlier in the day.

She said that the 'plane had "Previous" First. It did not register with me for a second and then I said, "you mean Old First?".

She laughed and said that they preferred the term "previous". I happily settled for 64K.

At the gate, my boarding pass bleeped and I ended up in 1A! Very happy, especially as it was NF.

It's new First, only the B747s have old First.
