If you have a preference for a window seat, 10A, 10K, 11K, and 14K are always good. Rows 12 and 15 have a window blank, so something to be aware of.

15F, but try to get 15A or 15K at T-72 or OLCI (search for bassinet T-72 to see the complexities on this). If 15E stays empty - and it's an unnecessarily unpopular seat - you'll have a great experience.

My mum is flying on her own to JFK on a 777 in CW with rows 5 to 17 (single seat in 8K)
Can't seem to find which plane this relates to but any advice on a good seat for a solo traveller? Thanks in advance

This sounds like a refurbished 777 with the new club suites. I think the 777 seating thread might have more details but it is not yet in service

Hi all,
We've just booked flights from LHR to Chicago, aircraft type 388, travelling as a couple. All but two seats on the main deck are available, as are everything apart from 50 B/J/K and 51C on the upper deck (the flights aren't for ages!). Which seats would the collective wisdom recommend?
Ceteris paribus I'd prefer to be on the upper deck, as the only other time I've experienced it was economy on a Virgin flight over a decade ago.
Thanks!
A

Hi, travelling to LAX on a 744, if I choose a window seat downstairs in club, would I have to step over the legs of the person in the same row, if in 50A would you be stepping over 50B? travelling with the kids who will want windows, but not sure I want them disturbing other passengers every time they might want to get out.

I'm not sure there is a Row 50 in CW on a 744, but yes, you'd have to step over (or at least pass in front of) someone.else. But it won't be the person in the same row. It would be the person in the aisle seat in the following row (e.g. 17A/K would have to step over 18B/J). There are a few exceptions where window seats have direct aisle access (mostly the ones facing a bulkhead).
