Hi,

For a novelty factor I would go 1AK but people might use the cupboard midflight and you are closer to the other row 1 seat.

For more privacy 2k ( plus you would be out of the sun for more of the flight than the A side)

Regards

Thank you both for the info, much appreciated, will move accordingly!

Out of interest, as it is the lower J config, will the seat/ AVOD differ to the more modern equipment?

Hi,

In F , the seat and the screen size will be the same as the refurbished super hi j 747-400s. i'm not sure about the IFE but think it will be the older IFE version.

Regards

Even as a solo traveller, I would take 1K on a 747. 1A isn't that close, wardrobe visits are usually pretty minimal, cabin crew are not passing by to serve seats further forwaed, and there is still that not quite forward view that can't be had from any other seat. I acknowledge that the forward view isn't as good on NF as it was on OF, but it's still worth seeing.

On a 777 going SEA-LHR. We are in 2K and 3K.

I noticed 1K is open. Stay put or should 3K move into 1K.

Thanks

I prefer 2K & 3K on a 777. I see no advantages to 1K, and it definitely feels less private.

It is a 777-200ER with 12 First Class seats. Your flight is obviously a long way off so it may change.

See here for more info.
