I know over the years this has being asked a hundred times but I soon have a flight to St Lucia in First with Mrs Padmeister and all middle pairs are taken so I am currently in 1K and Mrs P in 2K would you stay put or move to 3k/4k instead? I am sure the aircraft is the 777-200 4 class but I may have that slightly wrong you guys are better than me :-)

Pretty much, yes. The only difference will be the number of people that are walking past you (which is going to be limited with 4 window seats and 3 other aisle seats on each side of the plane). If you really want to limit how many people walk past then pick the middle pair furthest from the toilets (i.e. nobody is going to walk past you to get to the loo).

Can the buddy seat to be used in 787-900 for dinning together?

No - there is no buddy seat at all. It is the lid for storage and not to be sat on. The only social dining option is in seats E/F. Quote from my TR shortly after the launch
The much discussed "buddy seat" or not as it seems! My crew member confirmed it is not a buddy seat, and will not be used for First passengers to have a visitor or other F passenger join them. Underneath it is yet more decent storage space. It is immediately in front of the TV and wardrobe.

BA First seat selection 747
Evening all
First First flight for me soon 747 aircraft
Any difference (I know probably not) between 4 a & 5 a as this is all I am left with
I know I am next to the middle two seats but would 5 perhaps give a tiny bit more privacy at the back row or absolutely no diffrence at all
Thanks for your time

Hardly any difference. 4 would be my preference, slightly away from the galley.

Yeah I'd go for row 4 also.
Have you discovered if 1A/K is blocked or reserved ? If blocked & empty they will become available 48-72 hours before.
Maybe ask on here for someone to check if you're unsure how. If you already know all this I'll shut up
Help to check seat availability and flight loads

Missing seats 3/4K
Hi, I've seen this asked before in relation to old First. My flight out to Narita on the 777-300 from LHR is showing 3 and 4K missing, while on the way back from Haneda it shows the standard 777-300 first layout. Can anyone explain? Thanks.
