From my experience it is a stock comment they make for every cabin seat/row which is closest to the lavs. Not something to get too excited about

Haven't been on a 777 much, but I did not find even 1A to be too bad, even if its position does make it more likely to be in the line of galley noise. I would guess the middle seats will be fine.

Thanks. Rows 1 and 2 it is. Looking like a very full load to Sydney on 15 December.

Best of luck with the flight and yes I'd sit close together on the flight rather than the separated by a row or two. My nieces only one of which is as old as seven will happily sit through a flight watching either the IFE or something on their tablets (I bought them all LeapPads one Christmas).

IS there any difference between the window seats and centre seats on the 787-9 with regards to space?

Question 777 1A vs 1K

Currently showing 12F config 777.

Is there any significant difference between 1A and 1K?

Any idea how likely a different config will be substituted - and does that make any difference to your 1A vs 1K opinion?

(Thanks in advance - and sorry if this has been analyzed before - I did a quick scan but may well have missed it. Think I at least got the right thread though!)

There is no difference in these two seats but I would take 1K which will be on the quieter side of the cabin.

On the A380, are seats 2EF Ok for a couple?

I'm trying to picture it in my head but can't remember if the stairs split the seats? I'm normally travelling on my own so have a window seat and don't notice the middle seats too much.

The stairs don't split any of the middle seats so you should be fine.

Hi! Booked BOS-LHR later this month and we (group of 4) are in F on a B747.
Currently we have seats 2A 3A 4A 5A.

Someone claimed 1K today so we aren't going to try to go for 1A. Should we stay there or go to 5 A/E/F/K. It's a night flight but as long as Galley lights and noises are ok we should be fine there as some people in our group prefer to be next to each other. Are the crew usually good with curtain/lights on night flights?

I really don't like the E / F seats on the B747 - only my opinion - but when there were a few of us in the cabin last year my friend confirmed you are very exposed as opposed to the windows

Flying in F on the A380 and the cabin is surprisingly full. Single traveler and currently have 2E with 2F showing as occupied. The only other choice would be 4A, but I'm not sure it is worth it. Would you change seats or is 2E the better choice despite not being a window seat and having a seat mate?

No personal experience, but you may want to reference this:
