I'll go first for those who want to participate.

Nicest/Good Deed

1) Regularly given up my seat to accommodate couples, pairs etc.
(if asked politely and as long as it is like for like or similar)
2) Helped passengers lifting/stowing their overhead luggage
3) Guested into the lounges
4) Thanked crew in person at the time when the service has been good
5) Kept my window blind down/semi closed when applicable

Worst/Not so good

1) Taking 3 seats to myself in a lounge (only if it isn't busy though)
2) Not holding the lift doors when at T5 to/from T5A/B/C, furiously pressing the button for the doors to close
3) Before status, doing the walk of shame when I unintentionally joined a Fast Track queue being strictly enforced.
4) Being ticked off by BA CC (in a light hearted way) when I was apparently (allegedly) singing/humming whilst I had headphones on.
5) Waltzing for a leg stretch from F all the way round a 747 in my PJ's without realising some folks don't seem to like it!
6) all other misdemeanors MAY be disclosed at the Bristol Do

Paid for some chocolate at duty free for a woman and her daughter they had no local currency and didn't want to pay with a twenty pound note and get local currency back.
I was really happy to do it since there is nothing worse than a desperate need for chocolate

nicest/good deed-------- helped older ladies with hand luggage into overhead bin and bringing it down for them

guested into the lounge -- very pleasant young backpacker who was on the same flight--very interesting stories to tell from his travels

cant think of anything really bad that I have done

I can't think of any good deeds I've done while travelling on BA , I'm normally on the receiving end of people offering to carry my bags onto the aircraft, stow my bags, hand me back my cane etc.

One bad, -embarrassing - thing that springs to mind is the time I upset a cup of earl grey and some of it splashed over the poor guy in 1C. He laughed it off but I was mortified and already feeling a bit "special" having used the call bell all the way from 1A to order the drink in the first place.

Best thing I ever did was to offer to swap seats so that a lady could sit next to her (adult) daughter.

Worst thing I ever did was to offer to swap seats so that a lady could sit next to her (adult) daughter and conveniently omit the fact that a small child in the seat behind had persistently kicked my seat for the 10 mins or so since I'd boarded. Her father had been indifferent to the issue saying 'She's a kid and she's bored - what do you want me to do?'.

I can tell you the worst and best thing someone ever did for me on a BA flight:

This was about 13 years ago, the last time I flew BA. I got up to use the ladies' room, leaving my sunglasses on my seat. The gentleman sitting next to me (in the window seat) must have gotten up right after I did, returned, and lost his balance or something. In any event, he sat on my sunglasses, breaking them.

He then went on to do the nicest thing anyone has ever done for me on a BA (or any) flight: when I returned, he apologized for the mishap, and insisted I pick out a new pair of sunglasses from the Duty Free. While I tried to talk him out of it, I sincerely appreciated it, as I suffer from migraines, and doing without sunglasses would have been a bit of a hardship.

Nicest: Patiently answered all the questions of one of those BAA survey takers at LGW without becoming irritable in the slightest.

-managed to get a trolley of Champers brought to the Champagne bar for the ICN launch so no one went dry

-Shared the limited supply of LPGS with 9 fellow FTers in F (a hardship to be sure and selfless act of kindness) on the way back from ICN

-I've guested a few people

Worst:

-Um, well way back in a previous life around 2001, I was once truly awful to the BA check in staff member in DEN in a moment of DYKWIA madness. I was an .... I have learnt the error of my ways and since repented and hope I have made up for it when I can to other BA staff.

Others can be pried from me at DO's...@:-)

However @ my bolding - you forgot the bit about 'mocking' me and Stez for being in WT+ on the return and also NOT sharing any Champers with us down the back

Well, full disclosure follows;

PETER01 had had too much fun and was sleeping when several FTers joined me to come down the back to WT+ and invite some people up for a drink...Stez did benefit though and I imagine came back with a smile and a hiccup @:-)

In the interest of truly full disclosure...I have another worst event to add from trying to do a good deed:

-I apparently received the last bottles of champers during the inaugural 787 Flight back to LHR which would otherwise have gone to another pax in CW (later found out was an FTer as well) and which I shamelessly distributed to my fellow FT denizens less fortunate in WT+ and am therefore indirectly responsible for the follow on talkativeness those unnamed FTers subjected some poor elderly lady to (I think she is still scarred for life after that flight in the bulkhead row)

Wait, there seems to be a trend here....

Saying that, I don't remember a lot of things on that mad, once in a lifetime but very enjoyable weekend!

Nicest - Chatting to two American fellas at baggage claim on a 3 month long Euro trip with 6/7 suitcases at TLS last month. I handed them a Euro each so they could get a trolley

Let MrsJ69 have the window seat on a couple of SH's (I love window seats)

Worst - Not let MrsJ69 have the window seat on LH's

Not really bad but I can make myself pretty wide when folks try to push in the (or any) queue to board. Elbows and strategic placing of bag have been employed non violently on occasion.

Unfortunately the nastiest thing you've ever done was give such negative feedback???

The nicest thing I have ever done is help other people with their luggage. The nasty bit is that being short my luggage lifting technique is quite alarming and several people may have feared for their lives.
