Nicest - typed an online thank you for a member of BA staff who had just been fantastic (twice).

Worst - after a very heavy night in FRA (too many steins and meat products, not enough sleep) on an A380 training run trip, I probably rendered the lounge toilet unusable for a while.

Was that nicest or worst?

It was an extremely nice thing to do if it was Monopole or Castelnau so someone else unaware of the contents of the bottle didn't suffer, but if it was anything decent then that's total evil!

Heh no. It was being a part of a brutal DYKWIA moment of my Mother's.

This was August, 1993 I believe. It was me (8) and my brother (7) and my Mother. She was Executive Club Silver at the time and wanted to go to a lounge at LHR T4 before our flight back home to JFK. I can't remember why, but I know the presence of her two young children was supposed to prevent us from admittance to the lounge. The attendants were being quite forceful until my Mother yelled "I am tired! I am pregnant! and I want to sit down!". Well, it worked and we got in.

Nicest: on Sunday, lifted a bag for elderly lady into overhead bins when cabin crew refused to help.

Worst thing: walked off plane quickly on Sunday so that elderly lady had bag in overhead bins which crew wouldn't help her to get out

Ok-making the worst bit up.

Worst- got very suddenly hit by norovirus on flight from BHD-LHR, was sitting in 1C, projectile vomited forward all over the cabin service area and then all over the toilet to extent it had to be closed off to others. Luckily a one hour flight.

I do sometimes feel guilty about using priority lane at security

Yeah, sorry about that - it was an unintended consequence of my post.

I didn't realise I had started as many threads which some folks like and some folks don't, which is fair enough although.............. I come in peace

That's more to my personality in some ways

It also sounds much better than my current username!

ETA: A quick check reveals that Phil the Flyer has started 130 threads whereas I have only started 110 so it seems like he is much more of an 'Inquisitor' than me but I won't list them all

Pete

Erm, excuse me - I have been a member of FT for 3,493 days, you for 2,270 days. Accordingly your rates of posting and starting new threads are in the range 25-30% greater than me.

I suspect if we were to focus on threads started with a '?' at the end of the thread title it would be no contest!

Looking forward with anticipation to your next OT thread question.

How about:

Do you prefer to sit in an odd or even-number row?

How long do you spend in the aircraft washroom?

Do you eat your salad before or after your main course?

Do you avoid travelling on Friday 13th?

The possibilities are endless.

Ha!

As they are your thoughts I'll let you start them

I was thinking of other IDEAS such as:

Do you like travelling with BA on your Birthday?

Have you ever been chatted up by BA crew or vice-versa?

How many FT BAr's are left handed?

Has anyone ever seen the T5 Window Cleaners?

I was thinking "what's your preferred way of getting to Heathrow from the West", bit I really don't feel qualified to start question threads!!
