Hop, I took advantage of it and booked yesterday SVG-LHR//LCY-JFK-LHR-SVG for Easter 2015, all of that for 10 500 NOK (around 1050 GBP) !! That is a fantastic deal.
Easy to book on BA.com, no need to call or bypass some IT gremlins.
One week vacation in NYC, where I have never been yet And adding this one to my future bookings, enough TP to retain Silver one more year (I do not flight enough to make Gold worth it).
And I managed to secure 64A for the JFK-LHR segment, so this will be my first time upstairs on the 747, plus a try of the CWLCY service. *happy*

Reprieve boys and girls. Extended to June 18th.
This is getting predictable.
I was literally looking on ITA Matrix last minute but couldn't quite find the perfect routing as midnight (CEST) came and went. Then started looking with POS USA to extend the deadline. Then lo and behold, in went the change fare rules. So now I can get back to that design document and worry about pricing the next 3 trips at the weekend. Thanks BA.

I've got a new Amex gold rewards card on the way. As it's been extended a week, is it worth me cancelling the booking I made on Wednesday (paid with debit card) and rebooking with the Amex to earn the reward points?

I took advantage of this sale last week and booked MUC-LHR-DEN and return in CW for Mrs Wooster and myself for €4147 - which was a pretty big saving on the normal price. I actually booked the tickets via AA as they were €300 cheaper than if I had booked via the BA website. We won't earn as many Avios seeing as we are flying under an AA rather than BA code. However, the tier points I earn will get me to Silver which is good.
