Question BA "Your Itinerary"...T3 but T1 lounge

This is curious...having made a booking for a BA flight from Heathrow T3, the confirmation itinerary, says...

Departure Heathrow London) Terminal 3
...
After Check In
British Airways Galleries Lounge
Location: Terminal 1, Gate 5.
...
I presume this is a typo on BA's part?

It's wrong:

- The T1 gate 5 lounge is not a galleries.
- You can only use the lounges in the terminal you're departing from

You're spoiled for choice in T3 for lounges (shame about the rest of the terminal), the BA lounge is my favourite, the Cathy Pacific lounge is also decent. You can also use the AA one, but it's the worst of the three. All three have separate lounges for emerald/BA Gold.

I've just noticed the same for my PRG flight tomorrow.

Looks like a bug for all T3 departures. Even if BA were closing the T3 lounge for renovation (unlikely I'd say there's a few years left in them), they'd arrange something within the same terminal.

Terminals 1 and 2 will be connected airside, T3 is not.

This is a bug with all T3 bookings.

BA "Your Itinerary"...T3 but T1 lounge

If T1 and T2 will be connected airside, could one use a T2 partner lounge instead if the T1 international lounge when departing from T1?

Yes, if BA joins Star Alliance!

There's no oneworld presence in T2, although if the Priority Pass lounge is decent you could use that.
