Smile Live from GC South

After recent CCR visits am back to 'slumming' it in GC South again . Am normally in here breakfast hours following overnight TATL so imagine my surprise when I try lentil and bean curry- absolutely delicious, nice and spicy, washed down with a Heineken! Chicken Penang tray a bit short on actual bits of chicken but hey ho....

Anyway, bad planning has put me on last flight home so if anyone is around and needs guested or an extra family member guested drop me a PM soonish...

Sounds nice, shame about the beer!

Not tried the GC curries under Baxter Storey, but the curry options in the flounge are much nicer than the gloopy curries when Baxter Storey started.

Does GC still have the baked potatoes?

I called in there today rather than GF as I was running a bit later than planned, and also enjoyed the F&B: had some chilli and veggie curry, both of which were pleasant; and a glass of Sebastiani pinot noir 2010 from Sonoma, which was very drinkable

Yup- and a healthy supply of baked beans.

Arrived back safely after a wee trip on the 767.
Good night all, and to all a good night.

But you have to go up an extra floor to get to GC south
