It was all going so well...(BA flight to VIE)

Everything was going so well today, managed to get to LHR before the rain this morning, no queue at fast track security, lovely breakfast in lounge and a glass of champers to wash it down, arrived at gate just as boarding was called, cabin crew were lovely and attentive, half empty CE cabin, room for carry on in overhead lockers row 1 (D and F) to myself....knew it couldn't last...

You can imagine my shock and horror when I used the forward loo and was confronted by this:

Wrong way round by BA_pics, on Flickr

I'll be scarred for a while now, just posting it gives me the shivers...

How much compensation am I due for the main bog roll being set to 'under' instead of 'over' as any self respecting airline should know?

I think that's really shocking.

Hopefully this will lead to training of all relevant staff on a rolling programme.

Tomorrow morning as soon as the markets open I'll be shorting IAG - thanks for the heads up.

Does this class as insider trading?

Isn't the one on the left an over? Seems like it should satisfy both the correct and the incorrect people.

I think that needs thinking round. Not for everyone perhaps - maybe just for an inner circle. Otherwise it could lead to a tissue of lies.

It's also shocking that the crew didn't nip in before you and fold the end into a point.
