Redemption to Budapest for the weekend. With a Hilton sale from a few months ago the whole 3 night break is costing Ł125 each for 2.

Looking forward to it!

I'm already in Costa Rica having managed to snag reward flights from MAD-SJO, only booked in Feb.

Iberia new J in the A340-600, a virtually empty club cabin and seat, service and food way ahead of BA J. Only the supplied IFE was poorer.

Air Berlin (my first time to fly them) will be bringing me back to Düsseldorf from Abu Dhabi after a trip to Sydney with a non-BA, non-oneworld carrier...

How easy was UUA on this route, thinking of doing something similar next Easter.

DUS, leaving tomorrow morning.

Exit row aisle seat snagged at T-24 - happy considering my blue status.

Actually pretty easy, there was plenty of availability on the dates we wanted - and they were booked back in August, rather than at T-355. Could have also got seats to Dubai, but picked Abu Dhabi partly as it's a much quicker exit through the airport and also because back then there were lots of warnings of flight cancellations due to the Dubai runway closure. Flight times also worked well for us.
