Wink All This Bloody Acronyms! ...?

I find this site most useful having been travelling around this planet in complete bewilderment for so many years, thinking it was only me that gets annoyed at over size carry on, the lack of Fast Track or the DYKWIA's etc...

I but I will be the first to admit when I'm reading the regular's posts - I get lost with all the acronyms.

Could a helpful poster point me in the direction of some explanations?

The one that confused me for the longest time was HUATA (Hang UP And Try Again)
I had to google it in the end.

There are a few other new ones that we should put in. Apart from HUACA, there's also

GUFO / GUF1
POUG with a G
GVCC
FvdP
CSM
MF
Whatever the Gatwick crew manager is called these days
EF as in Eurofleet
WW as in worldwide fleet
KUP to join YUP
YF - YouFirst

And the CCR card thing is a little out of date. Any others?

OF is my favourite. OF means almost free avios trip.

BA RUST (again, admittedly not an acronym)

These belong to my toddlers and the good news is that they will be jamming up priority boarding this year precisely NEVER!

The extra orders were obviously part of an elaborate practical joke I had planned......

And I for one would just love to hear some more TFTG.

C-w-s: the LGW sccm is the same as it's been for the last 8 years or so. CM = Cabin Manager.

I must admit that when I read various stuff on here with acronyms I don't know - I often make up new ones as to what they mean

Actually, I don't think any of them are acronyms, just simply abbreviations or initialisms
