LHR-AMS POUG via BA App £3918

I know similar has been discussed and forgive me if this should be in the POUG thread but have just been offered the above pricing on a one way booking via the BA App. I called BA and they have quoted £282 which is the difference between my current booking and the publicised one way CE fare, rather than any promotional discounted fare.

Is it worth waiting to see if this POUG will drop (assuming it is a glitch)?

Would you really pay £282 to upgrade to CE from LHR to AMS?

I can beat that price & have been offered £8200 to upgrade from ET to CE each way on a LHR - Geneva booking.

Well I called BA and they told me there are no POUG offers on my flight despite the App inviting me to take advantage of such. Oh well!

There are some problems with POUG prices at the moment due to some changes to the internal system.

You're telling me! I just got quoted £12,000 on a LHR-ARN leg. That must be some kind of a record!

I'm doing a day trip to DUB at the weekend to secure my 3000 TPs this year and when I booked it for some reason I only POUG'd one leg! On Saturday the UG was £69 but I have been a bit distracted so just checked again - £3,421 - I think I'll stick to ET on the way there.
