WT+ restyle

Does anyone know if the World Traveller Plus restyle will apply to the Heathrow - Phoenix route? I can't see the old 747 equipment mentioned in BA's plans.

If it stays as a 744 it won't apply to LHR-PHX. New WT+ is only available on new aircraft (773, 788, 388 etc) and some of the refurbed 772s. The 744 are going to stay old cabins until they are sent to the knackers yard.

Welcome to FT!

The latest WTP seats are fitted on the A380, 787, 77W and some 772s.

7 of the 13 longhaul 767s have refreshed old WTP seats (new fabrics, but old style seats), whilst the other 6 have not been refreshed and have the old seats.

Other 772s and all 747s have the old WTP seats.

I've sat in these seats on the 777-300ER and the cabin is terrific:

Even the reality is impressive:

Interesting that the reality differs from the brochure in that the outer armrests are not movable, thus reducing the effective seat width. That's a pity.

Well that's not correct as the armrests come in different versions.
The photo above is from an exit row, with tables folded inside armrests. Other seats are like in the brochure as far as I can remember from the 773 and 787.

WT+ restyle

Given the 747's will be flying for many years to come, BA should do something about the old/tired/broken seats in WT+

But then again they haven't finished rolling out NF yet

New WT+ is much improved, the only thing I don't like is sleeping in the seats, I find the old WT+ seats better for sleeping for some reason.
