So to confirm what is the official policy? If there is an infinity bath available (taking into account F have first shout) and I am on on an incoming flight in CW can I request one? I would quite like to try it out

Well you can request one but expect to have to stand your ground on it.

When I was flying CW I asked to look at one and was refused. I was told they were only available for F pax and that included just looking at them. Since then, I've been told on here that they are available to CW pax, and had I known that I would have been more insistent.

Mind you, when I was flying F I really had to insist before someone rather curtly showed me to one.

I had a bath when arriving in CW a couple of weeks ago with no problems at all. I politely asked whether Club passengers were able to, or whether they were only for First (expecting from here to be told I couldn't) -- yet she said "of course you can; take your time". Pretty nice way to end a long flight!

I didn't let the water run over though; I might have flown halfway round the world, but wasting water like that was too much for me!

Don't worry - it gets reused in the CW/Silver showers

It is a very weird feeling because you can't escape the idea that the water is running all over the floor.

It's a shame they can't be consistent about the policy as it doesn't leave a great impression. I will ask and hopefully have an experience similar to that of SleepySynapsehave but I am unlikely to stand my ground if they decline, do know why it would just feel odd demanding my entitlement to a have bath, if they say no I will leave it at that!

I've used the bath 3 times, always in Club World, and never been refused.

I didn't know until reading this thread that they were for First primarily.

In fact one must have been offered by the staff proactively the first time, or I wouldn't have known they existed.

It takes too long for the bath to reach 'overflow level' and I struggle to justify sitting in an overflowing bath with the taps on. The biggest issue in Arrivals for me is never being able to get a spa appointment. It is just ridiculous. And is it just me or does it feel like they just grab a plate and go to the buffet for you when dining in the CCR?

Don't forget you can leave bags in the cloakroom and there is a shirt/jacket pressing service whilst you shower/wallow.

I don't really bother with the spa treatments in departure the last thing I want is one on arrival, I just don't see the appeal but I am sure some like them.

I think this idea that someone goes and gets things from the buffet is an urban myth. I have had my fair share of dodgy experiences in the Arrivals lounge (I well remember the "we have run out of eggs" day) but it does seem to be getting better (when there are staff in there), I had a faultless experience last weekend and it absolutely wasn't from the buffet. Many items aren't even on the buffet.

Well, that was a hearty discussion. I feel like I've been there before I've been there.

All that's needed now is some Swiss/Thai Airlines (& others) style F class passenger escorting from the plane to the arrivals lounge. I know, I know - 'one step beyond' and all that...

LX do not escort you to the arrivals lounge you get on the train with everyone else very like coming from T5 B&C.

I haven't flown LX F for a little while but I used to love the Bulgari Amenity Kit and bag in the F Arrivals Showers.

Have also been waiting in the Concorde Dining Room, but then the same person has done the service.

The eggs are made to order. The waffles my kids had are as well I think but I've had coldish bacon and sausage that certainly had the feeling of coming from the buffet. They may have been plated in kitchen from a yet to be put out batch but they are from the same gene pool.

Unless I have a particular yearning for freshly cooked eggs, I have largely given up going in. I do take the invitation card and "discard" it to someone if newly arrived in proximity (the "Brad complex" I call it).

With the bath, I found it a useful to set it running, then pop round and get a coffee whilst waiting for it to fill
