Lounge options T3

Flying to PRG later in month and have just realised that we'll be going through T3.
There would appear to be 3 choices for me as GCH, AA, Cathay and BA???

Any advice, which is likely to be best? BTW arriving into T5 from ABZ at 8:00 and departing for PRG at 11ish

TIA

Try them all!

But get breakfast from the Flounge I think, unless you've had it on the dom from ABZ

I like CX lounge... AAdmirals Club would be a zoo in the morning.

At the right time of the day the BA F lounge is great (I saw that you were BA Gold). I took an afternoon flight to Vienna once and there was only me and two other people in the F lounge. Plus the BA F lounge is nice even when busy.

I am not as keen on the CX one as it is mixed Business and First lounge. However this one can also be quiet at the right time.

As a Gold cardholder, you have access to the three oneworld first class lounges:

BA Galleries First
CX First Class Lounge
AA Flagship Lounge

And also the three oneworld business class lounges:

BA Galleries Club
CX Business Class Lounge
AA Admirals Club

If you like, try all of them. My preference is BA/CX. AA is rather forgettable.

OP would have access to the Flagship Lounge which is quieter, although still nothing to write home about.

Did that exact trip at the weekend. Opted for Cathay lounge for some noodles then popped along to the galleries lounge. Ran out of time otherwise intended to try AA as well

Had this for the VIE run when I was Gold.
I'd start in the BA F lounge, then nip up to CX F for the noodles and the view, back to BA complex for a shower, then BA F for the footie on Sky TV and a burger.
.. it all goes a bit downhill after that as it tended to be bus gates

May as well try all three but I really like the Cathay lounge - I know others find it small and prefer the BA lounge but if there's not a Cathay flight leaving soon it's very quiet

You can see my TR from a few weeks ago which covers this.

I'd go CX to try the noodles and then to BA to test the champagne bar.

Enjoy!

I agree. I was in the CX FC lounge on Saturday. I arrived just as final calls were being made for the early evening HKG flight. I shared the lounge with one other passenger and it was blissful.

As mentioned down thread, there is a F lounge section in CX

Absolutely agree.

I have been in F lounge at breakfast time (time OP will be there) and it is a real dream. Same food and drink offerings as T5 Flounge, but really quiet and therefore plenty of very attentive and helpful staff on hand.

A real pleasure.

Worth also noting that whereas BA have dumbed down the wine offerings in T5 Flounge, the T3 Flounge still has a great selection.

A real credit to BA, the T3 Flounge is to my mind the best BA lounge (with the possible exception of the CCR).

I have a flight coming up from T3- unfortunatly I dont have the use of the F lounges so out of the business J lounges whihc is the one to go for?

I will be in the lounges from approx 7 am - 9 am.

I dont think I am too fussed about the AA lounge so should i try the CX business lounge or stick to BA galleries?
